Project Overview
Community partner Pilipino Workers Center of Southern California (PWC) joined with popular Filipino musicians to write and record an upbeat song that encourages listeners to protect themselves and others against COVID-19. The song, entitled “Get Vaccinated,” features a blend of both English and Tagalog.
To help spread the message even further, PWC issued a social media dance challenge to the public, inviting viewers to record their own dance videos and share them on social media. Participants can follow PWC’s choreography or develop their own moves dancing to the Get Vaccinated song and then post it on Instagram, Facebook and TikTok with the hashtag #PWCGetVaccinated. They can challenge up to three friends to share their best dance moves by tagging them in the post. For additional participation details, visit the PWC Social Media Tool Kit.
